Let me introduce myself. My name is Jan-Jaap Fahner, I'm 35 years old, married, and father of two lovely children, Machteld and Boudewijn.

We live in Gouda, a small Dutch city known to many for its cheese, which, surprisingly, is not actually made in Gouda at all.

In my spare time (which is in rather short supply these days) I dabble in programming language design, and work on other various projects. I'm also a fervent cook, interested in European and Asian cuisine.
